For more than thirty years, we've been involved in missionary work, laboring in cooperation with a worldwide network of missionaries and have spent many years abroad in several countries of Central and South America, & Eastern Europe. Setting aside denominational and doctrinal differences and barriers, we strive to work in harmony with like-minded persons, lending them a hand with their projects and involving them in ours.

We are volunteers and not financially sponsored or remunerated by an organization. Our missionary work, including mission trips, depends upon support received from individuals, like you, who care enough to help us make a difference, a handful of supporters, friends, and our own labor to gather funds.

Since our return from living overseas on the mission field in 1993, we have based our outreach work in the US and have participated in various outreach missions in several locations. One special mission that we participated in was that of helping the disadvantaged and less fortunate people of Nicaragua. Beginning in 2002 through 2007, we made several mission trips to Nicaragua bringing in humanitarian aid, medical equipment and supplies, and wheelchairs, which we personally delivered accompanied by our humor-therapy variety clown show. The medical equipment and supplies, some of the wheelchairs, and the mission trips were sponsored by the "International Hospital for Children" (IHC) in New Orleans, while we paid our own airfare. Our experience in developing, 'third-world' nations where there is a greater physical need, as in Nicaragua, has been that there is a greater spiritual receptivity than in more affluent nations.

In 2005, we started the 'Motivational and Inspirational Messages' by email that we've dubbed ‘Tommy’s Window’ because it was inspired by the story of Tommy, and which has now become our main, fulltime work. Since the inception of the Tommy's Window 'cyber outreach', there's been a blossoming network of missionaries, friends and their friends, and an ever-increasing number of interested individuals, who receive and distribute the PowerPoint Slideshows with Motivational and Inspirational Messages to thousands every week, and it continues to multiply!
