Courage

Fear Not!

God can secure us from fear, either by removing the thing feared, or by subduing the fear of the thing.

Don’t be afraid to take a big step if one is indicated. You can’t cross a chasm in two small jumps.

Hold On!

Walking by faith means being prepared to trust where we are not permitted to see. Trusting means drawing on the inexhaustible resources of God.

Courage is fear holding on a minute longer. -George S. Patton

Obstacles are for Overcoming!

If you find a path with no obstacles–it is probably a path that doesn’t lead anywhere.

There are no difficulties with God. Difficulties wholly exist in our own unbelieving minds.

Today is Yours!

We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations.

An optimist is one who finds an opportunity in every difficulty. A pessimist is one who finds a difficulty in every opportunity.

Time to Launch

Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.   —André Gide (1869–1951)

Decision is the spark that ignites action. Until a decision is made, nothing happens. Decision is the courageous facing of issues, knowing that if they are not faced, problems will remain forever unanswered.   —Wilferd Peterson (1900–1995)
