It took time to learn that dark times are important. I had always enjoyed the ‘flowers’ of life but it took thorns to show me the beauty of God’s comfort. You know, the Bible says that God comforts us when we’re afflicted and from His consolation we learn to comfort others.
Well, my experience says that the thorns make the roses more precious. We treasure God’s providential care more during trouble than at any other time.
Grace
What makes Christianity different from all the other religions of the world?
The very heart of the gospel is the supreme truth that God accepts us with no conditions whatever when we put our trust in the atoning sacrifice of His incarnate Son.
Are Science and Faith in God Compatible?
“If I had no other data than the early chapters of Genesis, some of the Psalms, and other passages of Scripture, I would have arrived at essentially the same picture of the origin of the universe as is indicated by the scientific data.” ARNO PENZIAS (1933- )
Keeping the Faith
How can we “keep the faith” in what seems to be an increasingly skeptical world?
Faith is at the core of our spiritual lives, so it’s worth fighting for.
Spiritual Bouyancy
