Whenever a person says to me: “My problem is that I do not love the Lord enough,” I usually respond: “No … your problem is that you do not know how much the Lord loves you.” —Selwyn Hughes (1928–2006)
We need never shout across the spaces to an absent God. He is nearer than our own soul, closer than our most secret thoughts. —A. W. Tozer (1897–1963)
Prayer Is Like Demolition Mining
We shouldn’t lose faith if our prayers aren’t answered immediately. We’re told to not lose heart. Jesus instructs us to carry on in faith and confidence, knowing that God is a fair and generous judge, a loving father, who will answer according to His will and in His time.
No Exceptions
You should realize that you are naturally impatient because of the world you live in and the speed at which you are accustomed to things operating. We tend to expect “e-mail speed” answers to prayer.
Strengthen your faith. That’s the bottom line. Faith is the currency of the spiritual realm.
Buried Hurts
It takes divine, supernatural grace to forgive and to let God heal us when we’ve been hurt.

Boulders and Burdens
Doesn’t it sometimes feel like you are pushing a boulder up a hill, only to have it roll back down? Maybe it even rolls right over you on its way.
Faith is what unlocks God’s ability both to help us with our burdens now and bring us to victory in the future.
